When Love was King represents the beginning for AFQ. Almost five years ago a group of musicians shared their admiration for Gregory Porter, a prolific jazz singer and perfomer. Before they new it they decided to cover one of Porter's tunes "When Love Was King" and soon The Andrew Fisher Quartet was born.

In celebration of this EP AFQ gives their take on this powerful and thought-provoking piece.
